Hi,
I am an owner of a miniature Pembrooke Welsh Corgi, she is fawn color. Well ... she is not really miniature, but she is 2.5 years old, fully grown dog that weights about 20 pounds. Her name is Lolita, but we only call her that when she is in trouble otherwise it's Lola or sometimes Viciousness. lol Lola loves people and cats, but hates other dogs especially females. She is an alpha female and nobody better forget that!

We also have 140 pound, male, Bavarian Bear Rottweiler named Lord who also answers to Baby and he is almost 4 years old. Lola has been making his life a living hell since the day when we brought her home; first thing she did was walk up to sleeping Lord and bite a chunk out of his nose (that took 2 weeks to heal) and she was only 8 weeks old at the time. The breeder had to get rid of her earlier because she would bully her siblings and won't let them nurse, nevermind that she was a runt of the litter since she was a twin to the biggest pup in that litter. My Rottweiler is not neutered and when Lola about 3-4 months old she had learned where to bite him and any other unneutered male dogs for maximum pain effect. I have not been able to break her of that habit and Lord would not never hurt a female, so he won't defend himself or discipline her. He is an alpha male, but Lola is an alpha female which means that in her way of thinking she outranks him. Lola is very sweet dog to people and cats. She loves to play with cats and won't bite them even if they bite or scratch her. She also loves little kids especially toddlers so that she can knock them gently to ground and lick their faces and especially ears.

Her little stub of a tail would spin like a propeller with happiness.
We would love for Lola to have puppies (she is purebred and is registered with APR), but she is so small that I am afraid to mate her. And then there is also the issue of her neutering the potential father to be. lol Of course she had not interracted with other Corgi's since she was 3 months old, so maybe she would like her own kind ... who knows. lol
We live in northern Illinois, just 15 minutes away from Wisconsin border.
We however love our little princess (and princess she is is since she is spoiled rotten by everyone) no matter what her faults are as I am sure all of you other Corgi owners out there do as well!
It will be nice to meet all of you!
