Thanks Corgiland for starting Rupert's birthday thread and thanks Em for wanting to!!! It's Uncle Corgiland's birthday today too and Uncle Stan is one of Rupert (and Jemma's) favourite people in the whole world - so happy birthday to Uncle Stan too.
Sadly, Rupert didn't get to have a magnificent affair like Ponzo and Ace for his birthday and I think he was a little bummed out. I came home from work and he was drunker than a skunk, wearing his birthday hat and singing rude tunes. Mostly just making up bad lyrics to good songs. I caught him in the act as you can see. To make up for it he and I are going to spend a little time together on Saturday without little sister tagging along - I think he'll like that. When he sobers up, tomorrow, I shall pass on all the kind wishes and greetings!! Thanks so much everyone!!! Last edited by Jespah; 04-03-2007 at 05:57 PM. |

Saw the Canadian Standard Daily newspaper yesterday and it was a front page scoop:
Dignatories will gather at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal on Saturday to celebrate the birthday of Rupe. Rupe our hero, the headlines read - He is only five years old and fame has not gone to his head. He prefers muddy waters to any fanfare, and best wishes on the web, But he has the country at heart and a love for Jemma and Deb. Last edited by Michael Romanos; 02-15-2007 at 09:18 PM. |

Thanks All - and especially Michael - we are honoured to have a birthday poem - I'll read it to Rupe when I get home tonight - he should be feeling a little better by then - and don't worry milosmom- I hide his car keys when he gets in his cups!!!!
