Hi--What a pleasure to find others as crazy about corgis as myself. I was beginning to feel a little isolated -- especially when I found myself begging my family recently: "Oh please, just one more puppy..." and my three kids (the youngest is 5 and the oldest 16) each pulled me aside and sternly counseled me "Now Mom...you know how much work a puppy is!"

Yes, I must be feeling isolated--replying to myself in a forum! Anyway, forgot to mention in my introduction that in addition to 3 kids I have two Pembroke Welsh Corgis--a six year old tri named Yoshi and a two-year-old ed & white named Rosie. I've had other breeds in the past but I am completely and firmly sold on Corgis now as the world's best dog!

You are the second Pem Corgi owner to join Go Corgi in the last several days who has a red and white Corgi named Rosie. Not a thorn in your side, I bet.

Welcome to Yoshi and Rosie! Can't wait to see photos of your two! I am mom to Dillon, a 21 month old red and white pem and as of tomorrow i will be mom to Gus, a 28 month old red and white pem... There are lots of people here who love the corgis, so no need to feel isolated over there!

Welcome! I was amazed there were this many when I found the board myself. I am thrilled to find this breed too! I would love to have about 4 more!

Welcome! I have a 14 month old pem Liam. And human kids 16, 15 and 11. DH says no more corgis til one of the cats dies. How mean! But that's what he said. We have a 10 yo manx mix and an unknown-age Katrina rescue cat so it might be a long time before I can have another dog. I have to live vicariously through my Go Corgi buddies who are getting cute little puppies. And I guess its like being a granny, I am sleeping through the night and not housebreaking.

Welcome to you all!

I am the owner of a Pem girl - Mazie will be 14 months on the 20th of this month.

This is a fun forum and you seemed to have joined at the perfect time - many members have just gotten or are about to get a new puppy...boy, sometimes it is hard to resist the urge when you see those cute puppy faces and floppy ears .

Post some pictures when you get the chance...

Lisa
