Hello, I'm a new member. =]
Hello everyone, I'm new to owning a corgi puppy. I live with my girlfriend in Queens, NY and she has owned 2 puppies previous to our new baby but they were old and needed to be put to sleep
but anyway, I'd like to introduce our baby. his name is Freddie Mercury and is currently sleeping under my chair. lol. He's a sable and very lovely. At this moment in his life, he loves chewing on the edges of tables, desks, boxes, you name it if it has edges, he'll be biting it. He even has his own myspace (www.myspace.com/freddiethecorgi) .. the first two people on his top 8 are my girlfriend and I . Hopefully ya'll will like Freddie.

Although I live in the UK, I have a NY connection as my niece lives in Brooklyn.

Freddie is adorable! Welcome to the forum that has an incredible amount of information. Do a search on any topic and be prepared to read. The time seems to fly by.
My 15yr old died last month. I am without dog awaiting June to get one. The wait is hard but worth it when I see how adorable puppies are. Nylabones are wonderful for their chewing. Of course some of us spoiled our dogs as they got older, holding the "bone" for their chewing. Get the variety pack as some like the knobby ones, others like the original flavor etc. We already have the pack waiting in the empty crate. I can't wait to show Freddie's pictures to my son when he gets home from school. I'll hear Ahhhhhh. Merrie P.S. very nice oak floors where Freddie is sleeping, nice variety of color. Yep. Freddie has the goods. Just make sure he always has an alternative thing to chew which is specifically for him. Thrust it gently at his eyes and nose and say this is for you to chew not what he attemts to or actually gets his teeth into when you are not looking. His chew things should be of good quality (chew bars, toys, ropes, pigs ears etc) so that they last as long as it is possible. A big nice raw beef or lamb bone given weekly (outside of course)would be marvellous for him - canon, chin, femur or brisket.

Also, I don't see any sable on him. Did the breeder tell you that he's a sable? Peggy
