Introducing myself & Roo (Kiba)
Hello all.
I can't say how excited I am to finally be posting!. My name is Heather and I'm owned by an adorable little tub of fluff named Kiba -- or affectionately nicknamed, Mr. Roo. For the lack of a digital camera, I'm afraid I don't have many recent pictures to show of my rad little guy. I'm hoping to replace it soon, which in that case watch out!. I'm sure I'll have a boatload of photos. Here's one from back in April, before he blew his first coat!. Look at that face, I feel like a doting mother already. ![]() Before I lost it's information, I was first welcomed to Go Corgi under a different account -- long before Kiba rolled into my life. In case anyone remembers, I got my heartdog after a well-worth-it-wait until I was absolutely ready. He was the last male of his litter, and I knew he was the one for me. His personality is all I could ask for, loving and kind. He was born November 6th (Year of the Dog) and it shocks me to think my little boy is going to be one years old!. It's going to take every ounce of will power I have left not to empty my bank account on the furball when his birthday is near. After over 10 years of admiring the breed, I'm delighted to own one. I swear, I can't look at any other dog the same now!. I guess Corgis do that to you. Well, hope everyone is enjoying the end of the summer. P.S. I'm addicted to these adorable Corgi-icons. How cute!. Love, Heather & Kiba |

Hi Heather and Mr Roo
I can understand just how you feel. Shame Mr Roo can't remain a pup for ever. What a gorgeous fellow he is. Lovely coated and marked like only Corgis can be. You and Mr Roo are a great example that it is well worth waiting for the right one, the right litter and breeding and breeder to come along. |

Thank you all. I'll have to see if I can dig up another picture of his markings -- mismarked by standards but I always kid I spilled a little cream on his ear when I went to fix my coffee one morning. (: Wouldn't trade him for the world.
I appreciate the warm welcome. Last edited by Heather L.; 07-29-2007 at 11:52 AM. |

It is important of course, not to encourage the proliferation of Corgis that are mismarked. But on the other hand, in a lot of cases it certainly makes a Corgi look more fascinating.
