Hi all! I'm new here!! I actually found this forum because I'm getting a Corgi soon.. so I thought it would be fun to share and stuff with other Corgi people!! My name is Melli and the Corgi will be my 4th doggie!! I have a Smooth Fox Terrier, but it lives with my friend so I don't see him very often which makes me a bit sad.. I also have a Mini Pin and a Golden Retriever who are both around 3 years. So yah.. this will be fun~

I believe your very first Corgi who is arriving (jetting in) to you shortly will be called Turbo. Congrats. And I hope that all important and stressful house training goes well. All I ever used for the first few days or so was tons of newspaper.

Haha! The breeder did a wonderful job getting him housetrained, so it's been pretty easy for me, thank god. But he does have a tendancy to "misaim"

"misaim" - heh - we had a cat like that once. Excellent at using his litter tray, but always, always over the side.

*falls over laughing. I know! I swear they aim for the edge so that some will get onto the floor and they'll get to sit back and watch us clean it up for him.

"puppy rug" LOL! That is such a corgi look isn't it, especially when they are pups.

Turbo is adorable!!!! Reminds me of Duncan when he was little. Does his arms still go down straight to his sides when he sleeps on his back? The first time my husband saw Duncan sleeping like that he laughed his butt off!! He has never had a dog, let alone a dog that loves sleeping on their backs.
Seeing that picture makes me want another one so bad, but my husband says that two dogs and two cats are enough.

Yah!! A friend of mine had a corgi before and swore that corgi's sleep like that.. I didn't believe him until I saw Turbo do it! He looks like a real person sleeping! I thought it was so funny!

Thanks to all who gave us such a warm welcome! I have tons of pictures on my camera phone, but I haven't figured out how to put it on the comp..
