Hi From Western Mass!
Hello Everyone!
I just stumbled across this forum today while on dogster.. and thought I'd join it to meet other fellow Corgi enthusiasts. My name is Tiffany. and I'm from Western, Massachusetts.. more specifically, East Longmeadow. I have a year old male Pembroke named Hemi. He's quite the character.. but I guess that comes with the breed! I'm looking to get another Pembroke within the new future once things are more settled and that I find a house. I'm into horses as well. I used to ride and show at the national level .. showing my Arabian Gelding. At the moment I have 2 horses.. and my boyfriend has a paint colt. Asides from the equines and Hemi, I also have 2 Chinchillas.. one of them seems to be very fond of Hemi, oddly. I take Hemi rollerblading with me once to twice a day and we do about a mile and 3/4 each time out.. Silly guy tries his hardest to keep up! The smile on his face when he's running is quite priceless!  Are there any other people here in Ma or Ct ?? I'd love to go to a meetup sometime! Any hikers here too!?  hemi @ Bear Mountain in Ct  Top of the Mountain!  one tired hemi.. This was this past Spring so he was about 8 months old or so. Nice to meet yall! There is a small group of us corgi owners on the coast, tri state area, Mass,NH, and Maine. We have had a few playdates that were fun and planning to have another on Oct. 21, raindate 28. Location is not set yet. Probably Kingston Park in NH or North Beach Hampton.

Welsome aboard. Hemi's having an active and great life and it is splendid that you are seeking to make his (and yours) even more interesting.
Hemi is quite a common Maori male name and its English equivalent is James. Otherwise Hemi stands for half or partial which is apt for such a small dog as a Corgi. |
