Hello from RI - 10-31-2007, 06:07 AM

Hey,
I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm John and I own a Cardigan named Will (Soper's Autumn Willamette) that is nuts about fetch and also teases myself and the family whenever he gets an opportunity. Will is our second Cardigan, the first was Opal a wonderful "fluff" who unfortunately passed on at the tender age of 5 yrs due to renal failure.
I'm eventually going to try to get another Cardigan (another female) and want to work with a breeder interested in conformation/performance. This is not something that I'm going to dive into in a hurry, I want to find out more about showing and well, tracking and herding too.
I should add that I like almost all dogs and have enjoyed talking with breeders at shows.
Anyway, take care and let me know if you have any questions about me.
Cheers,
John

It is always interesting to see pictures. I know the people who have cardis will particularly like to see your dog.
I love RI. You can not get lost there because it is too small. But there is some very nice places that I am going back to see. I haven't been to the zoo yet.

Hi John, the best way to get to know breeders like you're talking about is to go to the dog shows and meet them. Or join a club in your area.

Check out the CWCCA page Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America and contact breeders in your area. They will know which club is closest.

You can find show info on these sites:
Jack Onofrio Dog Shows, Show Information
InfoDog AKC Dog Show Information - Search by State
American Kennel Club - Event and Awards Search
