I couldn't wait for Christmas - 12-13-2007, 07:14 AM

I gave Chloe, my corgi/chow mixed her present already. I mentioned before that she loves fish and even has her own pond in our backyard with goldfish. So, since she doesn't play with toys, I got her a little one gallon aquarium. I bought 3 fancy tail males guppies and put them in the aquarium. I then set in on a little stool, eye level for her. YOU SHOULD SEE HER! She won't leave it! You have to force her to go outside, and as soon as she is let back in, she runs back to the aquarium. She has even been sleeping near it at night and no longer in the bedroom with us. I moved her bed out there as near as possible to it for her.

As soon as I get the pictures downloaded, I'll post them for everyone to see.

I'd love to see pictures of Chloe admiring her new pets!

I couldn't figure out how to get Chloe's picture with her aquarium on this message, but, I did manage to get it in the Corgi's latest pictures.

Oh, how cute is that! I just made a comment about what an easy dog Charlie is, but I know he would have knocked that aquarium off the stool in about one minute! Water, water everywhere! What a nice dog Chloe is!!!

She looks so cute! I have a cat that loved to watch the fish in our tank ( back when we had fish) so i put her kitty condo next to it so she could have a front row seat to the fishy show! Only she would bat at the glass when the fish came close...

I am surprised that Chloe doesnt knock the tank over...she is very cute..

Well, I watched her real close the first couple of hours. She started to paw at it once or twice, and all I said was "Chloe, no" in a stern, but not loud voice. She is a pretty good dog. Her only bad habit is barking at everything when she is outside. Anything in eye or ear range gets barked at....protecting "her" yard

Taylor is quiet as a mouse wheb outside in the front of his property but doesn't put up with any non-introduced animal in the rear of his property. With people he is always quiet unless they approach or come knocking at the front door when he is inside, and he lets us know forcefully of the 'intrusion'.
