Hello everybody!

My name is Sabrina and our Welsh Corgis name is Ein.

The story how we became Ein:
My husband used to watch Cowboy Bepob and there was a little Welsh Corgi named Ein. Since then he always wanted a Welsh Corgi.

I decided to buy him a little puppy as my wedding present for him. Ein arrived 4 month after we got married and we are totally in love with her.

She is 6 month old now and still a little spitfire.

Welcome! In the few months I've been on the forum, I've noticed a literal explosion of Ein's from Cowboy Bebop! Your Ein is sure a cutie, and the same age as my Charlie (6 months yesterday).

I have to admit that I have never watched Cowboy Bebop. I really didn't like the name Ein on the beginning. I'm from Germany and Ein means "a" like "a tree" or 1 so it was really weird and my family was making fun.

But now we are all used to the name and she looks like "Ein".

You could also tell your family that since Ein is a Welsh dog, that in the Welsh language Ein is also short for the Welsh name Einion, meaning "Anvil". They might make more fun though, and think that "a" or "1" is a terribly sensible name translation.

i dont speak any language other than english but i took french in high school although its been forever and a day and my students speak spanish, khmer, portugese and such....i just remember something about a "chien" being a dog, i think..."un chat" is a cat or something too again, i think....therefore i dont really know

anywho.....glad to meet you and your pup is a cutie pie

It also means "one" in German.

my boyfriend also wanted to name our Welsh Corgi Ein...
but I put my foot down!
and so now we have a little Westin! haha.
