Hi everyone! I have decided to take the next step in getting my first Corgi by joining here and talking to the people who know them best- owners!

I have loved Corgis since I can remember (Pembrokes to be exact). I want to eventually get a Red & White male but I am going to wait until I love into a permanent home and have a stable job. But I want to learn more about them and make sure one would be a good fit in our family before I make any final decisions.

Thanks for the welcome! I would have come back here sooner, but the link to here was not working for me I thought maybe the site was having problems, I tried to get on a few times a day! I am a forum junkie and spend a good time on a few forums (all bird ones ).

Welcome! I'm down below you in Iowa, eastern portion to be exact. Our home is run by a herd of cardigans though I have had a pembroke in the past. I also am owned by a couple smooth collies, one rough-that's her in my avatar along with a very cute little cardigan pup hiding in her feathers. Add in the ducks, brussel griffons and the clydesdales and well it's controlled chaos. Did I mention a hubby who is traveling to CA these days and three kids?

Whew, just made me tired typing it all!

Have fun--lots of good information on here.

Mine must have been too, I couldn't get this site for days!

You'll find lots of great info here, to help you find the right puppy for you and give you an idea of what to expect with a corgi puppy.
