HI,
I'm so glad I found this site, I'm a corgi Mom to two wonderful Pembrokes, Augustus & Bella. We live in the Oklahoma City area so are city dogs but love visting our grandparents ranch in the mountains. Hope to make a lot of friends here and get some great ideas on diet and grooming.

Hi and welcome. Does Augustus have a shortened name or a nickname? There is a current thread at the moment with some good tips on feeding a Corgi - re daily supplementing a dry food diet (re thread: a few puppy questions). The secret about grooming a Corgi is regular baths - once a month with quality shampoo for dogs - and brush/combing every day for three-four minutes starting from the skirt/trousers and working to the Corgi's front from there, increasing the combing/brushing strokes as you move towards the neck.
