Hi, newbie here...

Hi, I'm new. My name is Rhys, but my AKC name is CB's Disraeli Ears...hence, the user name.
Why yes! My mom does study British history!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi.

Welcome to the site! Do you have a cardigan or pembroke? How old is he or she? I have a 13 week old cardi named Dudley. This is a great site to talk with others about corgi information
Welcome again
Jeni

Hi Disraeli
It never use to be, but a light red in a Corgi is now termed 'fawn.' I think my Pem, Tayor is a fawn and white. If you look at the two pics he has on Go Corgi or the seven he has on Dogster -re www.dogster.com/?221457 what do you think? Though many photos can be misleading with colour - ie not a true colour is reproduced.

Yes, Michael - it seems that Taylor (who is beautiful, btw) would be fawn. I guess that would be Rhys's hue, also. His fur is more golden than red.

There you go - Taylor has a new designated colour (spelt color in the USA). But I don't think I'll go as far as re-registering him and altering his pedigree papers etc. In NZ a Pem who has anything like a touch of reddish brown
colouring - in any kind of shade - in their coat has been referred to as red with the great majority either red and white or secondly tri (black, red and white). Will fawn officially creep in here? At Corgi non championship shows in NZ where they have special classes - Best Red is just one of many.
