Hi Doc
Generally speaking, the cooler the environment and the cooler conditions you keep your Corgi in, the less amount of shedding occurs. Groom your Corgi daily for about five minutes, using both brush and comb and don't forget the front and underside. Bath your Corgi every three weeks or once monthly. Comb as Corgi is drying out and groom a couple of times as soon as Corgi is dry. Get your Corgi use to hair dryers - re bath - and vacuum cleaners as a great method of getting rid of loose hair without the hair falling all around. Give your Corgi hydro baths via commercial groomers or purchase/ hire the equipment. Corgi coat shedding need not be as problematic as a lot of people make it out to be. |
