Hi, we're new here.
Well, actually, I've been registered about a week now, but this is the first time I've had the chance to introduce myself and upload some pictures.
My name is Debi and my partner Chris and I have had our pup about a month now. He is a six month old sable and white Pem, and his name is Trevor. He's a little guy, but quite the pistol! I've posted a couple of recent pics in the Member's Gallery under dcole. I've enjoyed reading the posts and seeing everyone's pictures so far. Looking forward to enjoying GoCorgi! Debi, Christy and Trevor, plus Kona and Bamboo, the dominant Siamese cats |

Welcome Debi, I am Deb, "mother" of Rupert. There seems to be lots of us Debs on GoCorgi.
You might as well let Trevor know now that the cats will always rule! I'm looking forward to seeing his pics. Deb |

Oh, and he has learned that the cats are NOT amused by his antics (not that it stops him from trying ![]() -Debi |

Hi Debi and Co. Linda would live to hear about your Siamese cats. The name Trevor gets shortened to Trev downunder (New Zealand and Australia). Does your fellow get called this too, though it is more an Aussie name than a Kiwi one.

Hey Michael,
Yes, he gets called Trev sometimes, or even "Rrrevor" ![]() BTW, your boy looks awesome jumping through that hoop! After Trevor completes somemore basic obedience, I hope to give agility a try. -Debi |

Hello Deb, Christy and Trevor,
Welcome to the board. My name is Linda and my Pem boys name is Cody(8 months old) and I have 3 cats named Billy, Owen and Ernie - I almost adopted a Siamese cat from the Humane Society a year ago, but decided on our Ernie instead. The Siamese was a beautiful cat. I think Michael would love a cat(we just have to convince him that they are not all bad) Linda Last edited by corgimom; 07-23-2006 at 05:05 PM. |

There certainly seems a big momentum building up of people in the USA with Pems in particular, wanting to give agility a try. There will be more than just my Taylor in New Zealand in agility when we shift to giving mini dogs their own competition - then we will give those poncie Poodles a run for their money.
Good on yer, Trev. Git in behind.... and grow strong, if not big, with plenty of toe. Look to them yonder hills for building up those leg muscles. - but not before you've reached at least six months old. |

Welcome to GoCorgi Debie, Chris & Trevor!
My two sweeties that you see in the avatar are Miss Montrose (aka Monty), she'll be 12 very soon, and Dylan will be 9yrs old next month. Glad that you and yours have joined us, & I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

All,
Thanks so much for your warm words of welcome and praise for our boy Trevor. I really enjoy reading through the posts and looking at the pictures of everyone's dogs. Although Trevor is my first corgi, you all have re-affirmed that corgi's ARE in fact the coolest (and cutest!) dogs in the world! At 6-1/2 months of age now, Trev is about as tall as he'll get, around 9 inches high at the withers. I suspect he will still fill out some, though. Time to start building those muscles for competion! Maybe his somewhat small statue will help in those weaving poles, although I think they may have to set the jumps on the lowest setting for him! -Debi |

Debi - Don't write off Trevor just yet. He has still quite a bit of growing to do and no six to ten month old Corgi has finished growing lengthwise if not in height. Often their heads are still in growth stages and that is one of the reasons why Corgis with seemingly huge ears as young pups, finish up with more porportionate ears by the time they are heading for the junior ranks.
Can some Corgis be classified in the micro competition in the USA? I don't know my Taylor's height but he's a little more than average in size and he is a true mini in agility terms. But we don't have micro here yet and when we do, it could be that the midi, mini and micro height categories will be altered to be the same as they are in Australia which in turn probably relates to the standards in the USA. Welcome Debi, Christy & Trevor!
Trevor is SOOOO cute! I especially like the "No one can see me here" picture! I have a year-old fluffy pem named Jackie, and I agree with you that corgis are the coolest, and the cutest!
