Dear GoCorgi Community,

Hello. I'm Heather -- or Heza, a new member of this community. After lurking for the past month or so, I finally decided to make my greetings. I've been a major fan of Corgis for quite some time, but unfortunately do not own one. Although I'm quite interested to say the least, and will be getting one in the future, I do have awhile to prepare as I live in an environment housing two other roudy dogs -- a Boston Terrier and an Irish Wolfhound rescue mix.

Everything about Corgis has intrigued me, and I thought this would be a wonderful place to start.

As far as a little bit about myself.. I'm 16 years old and from New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm a beginning freelance artist, and I run a small shop selling my personal original pet portraits and New Orleans art which can be visited by clicking my www link, or by simply going to Kayannworks.com.

Those of us who have corgis are always looking at them, These dogs have such expressive eyes, ears, noses and butts. They are just so cute in almost any position. You will find it easy to love them so completely that it takes your breath away.
I think that you are an intelligent and ambitious young woman who will wait until it is the right time for you to get your dog. Maybe when you have your own home or have more room for another animal.

Thank you all for your compliments and best wishes, I sincerely appreciate every one of them!. Corgis are indeed fascinating, and I'm thankful to have the opportunity to learn about their care and temperament here at GoCorgi before becoming a potential owner in the future.

As far as Corgi art goes, I happen to be working on quite a few projects I hope to have up by the beginning of next month.

T-Gal, both your Corgis are absolutely beautiful -- as they all are here!. What colour is the lighter one, Emma?. I've never seen a Corgi so light besides the occasional red and white I've come across in local dog parks.

Welcome Heather! I understand where you are coming from. I wanted a corgi since I was 10 years old, and had to content myself with learning all I could about them until I could get one (20+ years later!). Hope it doesn't take that long for you!!!
