Hey there Corgi Friends -
07-24-2006, 02:34 PM
Hi! I am a NEW corgi owner (so new in fact, that I have not got my pup yet) Abby is still with her mama and I will get to go pick her up in August. She is my first Corgi, although my mom has had two. I recently lost my previous pet (a basset pup that had a genetic condition) and I am excited to get Abigail in my home, as it is way too quiet around here. I just wanted to say hello!!

Welcome to the site! I'm sure you are very excited to be getting your new pup, and I'm terribly sorry to hear about the loss of your basset. I read in another post that you are a teacher. What grade/subject do you teach? I only ask because I am a teacher as well--special education for kids with behavior/emotional disorders, grade 3-5. I was lucky enough to be able to come home on my lunch break to let Dudley (my now 5 month old Cardi) out.
Anywho, welcome to the site and looking forward to getting to know both you and your pup!
Jeni

So sorry to hear about the loss of your other dog. That is difficult.
Congratulations on your new addition. Is she a Pem or a cardi
That is very exciting for you. Will look forward to pictures being posted when
you get her.

I am sorry that you have lost your Basset puppy.
Looking forward to hearing all about your corgi, and seeing pictures too.

Welcome to the Forum. My PWC is also called Abby (so named because of the Dear Abby Column). She is 19 months old. Looking forward to seeing the pics of your Abby.
Kath.
