Smile Hello, my name is Erin - 01-25-2006, 11:45 AM

I am the pround momma of 2 Pems. Hercules 3 this week and Athena 9 months.

I rescued Hurk from a garage of a couple who were divorcing.. he was fat stinky and not house trained. This is the best dog I have ever had. He is under the desk now laying on my feet.. I could not even think of a not cool thing about him because he is all around PERFECT!!

I bought Athena from some lady on a farm.. big mistake as she had never been in a house or knew that a house was not a place to pee in.. Athena is a fire ball... quick little pup.. she steals anything on the floor.. and hides it in her crate.. you can go to her crate at any given time and fill a garbage bag full of all her "treasures" she would steel the pillow under your head if she had a chance...

She is the poster pup for HORABLE BREEDING.. I was unaware until i went to see her.. She was not at all what I wanted but I knew she would need a home anyway so I took her.. she peed on me in the car... nice huh.. She is very tall.. extra long, rose ears and a funny face not foxy at all.. most people think she is a GSP (german shepard puppy) I have posted a pic in pictures but its not to good but I will get one of them together so you can compare..

We want to do agility but I cant find the time these days.. with the kids and a business to run I have no spare time..

I am super happy to find you all..

Erin

Dear Erin,
I am super happy that you found us! Your discription of your dogs brings a smile to my face and I think you are the greatest person to show all that love to these two dogs that have such different personalities.

Hi Erin
You've chosen great names for would be agility exponents -strong, athletic kind of names are Hercules and Athena. I can just visualise Hecules "hurtling" around the agility arena. And Athena and arena sort of goes together.

House training dogs - especially pups - is all about timing and persistency - no matter if it's day or night and what the weather outside is like. There are usually no short cuts and going by the book ie using tried and proven techniques, gets the best results in the shortest time.

Unless you're obtaining a Corgi from a quality and reputable breeder, it certainly pays to "shop" around and have options. But sometimes emotions take control, huh?

Hi Erin
It's funny isn't it? I was very sad when any of my Corgis lost their puppyhood. Oh happy puppy days. Puppies are simply another kind of animal. It's just great to see them explore everything; their curiousity; doing things for the first time; learning, learning ,learning and just in being a puppy with a cute puppy face and a puppy kiss. Oh, I could go on , but you get the picture. It ends all too soon unfortunately......so those who are puppy fans have got to make the most of it.
