I am a retired teacher and a busy grandmother. I don't have a Corgi yet, but love them all the same! I have friend who raises Corgis and she is waiting on a new litter to be whelped.
I watch the dog shows and have always loved seeing the Corgis. They have such personality and beauty. Both of my granddaughters would love to own a Corgi, but don't yet live in circumstances where they can have one. I have one granddaughter, Cora, in upstate NY where I have been living for the past year, but will be moving next month back to Calif to take care of my other granddaughter. My son will be working out of town/out of state and Piper will be with me. I was glad to find this forum! Anami |

Hello Anami,
My name is Linda, and My Pem Boy Cody is 10 months old. You say you don't have a Corgi yet, so does that mean you are waiting to get one from your friend? Is your friend also living in New York or in California and when are the puppies due to arrive? They are wonderful dogs and I know you will find everyone here very friendly and helpful. Welcome

Welcome to the site Anami. It's always nice to meet a fellow corgi-lover, even if they don't have one . . . yet . . .

Hi Anami - when you join a club like Go Corgi yet haven't got one, it is a sure bet, a 'marriage' (ie Corgi and Mum) is just around the corner.
Talk about your grandchildren wanting a Corgi - my Pem, Taylor and I today visited a class room of nine year old children and when I asked eventually how many would like to own a Corgi like Taylor, I don't think a single hand was not raised. Mind you, Taylor did his classroom routine which never fails to greatly impress the kids - off-leash he made sure he went up to every group of kids seated on the floor and those that were on their own, and said hello and sat with them for a minute or two, then he relaxed in the middle of everyone and lay on his back for tummy rubbing. He simply adores children more so than grown ups. |
