Hello I like to introduce myself. My name is Yolanda and I live in Florida.
I just adopted a 3.8 yr male Corgi. His name is Kramer and he is a Tri-Color.
I live with my son and we have always been an animal lovers.
I have absolutely no experience with Corgi's. My son has always wanted one and we got so blessed because an elderly was having to give hers up due to health reasons. I am just in love with this breed. My only complaint is the amount of shedding. And from what I hear its going to get worse when its gets real hot down here.
But then again I cant say enough about the good side. He is very gentle natured, very intelligent and listens very well.
Right now he is adjusting to his new home. We just got him Saturday. Everything is so new to him. My home, new scents, etc. He is a little bit overweight. He weights 38lbs and that has me a little concern. He defenitely is a wide body. He did not get much exercise or walked alot.
We are all trying to get to know each other for now.
I'm reading the post for right now but believe me I know I'll have lots of questions. I'm so glad I found this forum and look forward to learning about corgis and getting to know all of you.
Thanks again,
Yolanda
