Hello everyone: Just located this wonderful page tonight and plan to spend a lot of time enjoying it. My sable pembroke is my baby, photos to prove it and will post some later, she turns three next week so that means we spend that night like every birthday, starbucks then dinner out with her! Did I mention that my husband and I have totally spoiled her? We even purchased this elaborate barbie pink stroller for her lazy days out. Well, enough for now.

Welcome to Go Corgi. My boy, Taylor is also three years old and last Sunday he was on the top deck of a double decker bus having one of the times of his life in a 20 minute ride around the little city where I live in New Zealand. Later he was given a sausage off the barbecue, courtesy of the local city council. Not his birthday yet, but will I be able to better that for him when the big day comes round.

A Barbi Pink stroller? Now THAT is spoiled!!!!!
But of course, I'm confident she totally deserves it. It's amazing to me what a wonderful life some of our dogs live. I was visiting a friend in PA over the weekend and had Tucker (1 1/2 year old Pem) with me (Lulu went to her breeder's for the weekend to hang out with her sister and the rest of her pack).
My friend and I went shopping and took along her 1 year old cockerpoo + Tucker. We'd visit a store, hit a Petsmart, do another store, hit a PetCo, do another store, hit a dog park.
Life is good!
Welcome to the list. Sure would like to see that Barbi Pink Stroller!!!!!

I am so thrilled to have discovered you guys, I have had so many Corgi questions during the past few years, such as why did Miss Gambler's ears suddenly turn raw with sores? Answer: her ears are just so big she was slapping them together with such force she actually caused trauma to her ears. Had I known other Corgi owners, I could have asked, because my vet had never seen such. But after training her to not "snap" her ears together and putting her on pills for her fur and skin to add some moisture in case her ears were feeling dry, it has not happened again, knock on wood. You guys seem wonderful and I will put some photos of Miss Gambler, and her stroller, on here for all to see. She is the light of my life, as is my husband, of course, and to sum this up let me just say what a total stranger said to us last Christmas Eve when we were strolling Miss Gambler around a tree festival in her bright Barbie pink stroller with a white fur liner. He walked up to us, asked if he could take a photo of her in her stroller(and was he ever laughing as he did so) then looked me right in the eye and said, "You don't have kids , do you?"
Take care all, and love your corgi!

Ha ha...about the stroller. I don't have kids either - my Corgi is my baby. And on Friday, I will be a mother of two! I am adopting my Rhys's year-old sister, Andy!
Welcome to gocorgi - it is so much fun here!

Hello to you Glad you found us.
My name is Linda, and my Pem Boy is Cody and he is 11 months old now. You must have a wonderful husband who is willing to walk along side you while you push that pink Barbie stroller I Know my hubby would stay sitting in the car if we went anywhere

my corgi -lovin' hubby wont even walk with me down the street when i am carrying my corgi purse, i can't imagine a stroller- let alone a pink one! We went to washington DC last spring and we walked all over the capitol, with Dillon...by the end, we were really far from the car, we had walked about 9 miles and my husband decided to give poor tired dillon a break, and carried him - i looked at him after he carryed this then 25 lb corgi for about a half mile, and I asked him..."Don't you wish you had a doggy stroller now???" he huffed and he puffed and said " no, i would rather the hernia! LOL!!!" Men, they are something else.

Hi Miss Gambler. We're pretty new here too. Liam is 9 months old and he's spoiled even tho I have 3 kids, 2 cats and a Golden Retriever. Maybe it's just a corgi thing. Welcome!
