Taylor's birthday
Taylor celebrates his fourth birthday this Sunday (January 28) and he is due for a wow of a party.
I have hired a hall at one of his favourite large parks and have invited all the Wellington Welsh Corgi Walking Club members plus some other dog owners and their dogs to this daytime event. The park contains a lovely little stream and several picnic tables close together. So it will be afterrnoon tea and a Corgi birthday cake ( the carrot-peanut butter-honey cake that I have supplied the recipe details on Go Corgi). I have five or six games in mind for the dogs to play and will buy a load of prizes for giving to the winner of each of them. So Taylor and I are hoping for a good turnout |

That year has gone fast. It seems like Taylor was just having a third birthday a short time ago. I will make your carrot birthday cake recipe on the 28th and celebrate with you. Duchess will enjoy the cake then and I will freeze some for later. Have a great time. Happy Birthday Taylor!

Rev up the camera Michael! Be sure to get lots of pictures. We will be with you in spirit!
Tuck turns two next month and I really need to start thinking about a party for him! Yikes! Back in Cleveland we had great shelters that were winter proof in the Metro parks. Nothing like that back in good old NY state...

Thanks to all who have sent in their best wishes. I might ice the cake this time with a cheese topping and a sprinkle of carrots.
My wife thinks I am crazy - but not as crazy as she use to think because I can mention all you people and the lengths you go to for your baby/babies including birthday specials. I was going to put up big poster signs saying something like "Happy Fourth Brithday, Taylor" on a couple of street community noticeboards but Leigh (my dear wife) will have none of it. However I did buy some balloons and streamers today for decorating the entrance to the hall at the park. If Holly turns up it will make Taylor's day even though he will lose some of his freedom as I will have to give Holly some breathing space. |

Happy birthday to Milo in advance.
It's my oldest son's (Dylan) 20th birthday on February 6 - and my wife is wondering what I am going to do for him - why I'll hire the scout's hall again and save some of the balloons from Taylor's party. Have to think up some drinking games though. |
