Bumper Stickers

Here are some bumper sticker slogans seen on vehicles around Wellington, New Zealand:

THE EARTH IS FULL - GO HOME

HORN BROKEN - WATCH FOR FINGER

IF YOU CAN'T FEED 'EM - DON'T BREED 'EM

BOLDLY GOING NOWHERE

GROW YOUR OWN DOPE - PLANT A MAN

If anyone is going to refer the last sticker slogan to me - watch for the finger.

The bumper sticker I most recently seen was "Support the Troops or Shut YOUR Pie Hole". Made me laugh.

"My Corgi is smarter than your honor student"

"Women are great leaders - you're following one now"

"Hard work never killed anyone - but why take a chance?"

"I'm not gaining weight - I'm retaining food."

I saw this bumper sticker at a math workshop last summer.
"4/3 people have trouble with fractions."

T-Gal ~ I saw a card one time (a Maxine card) that said, "I don't have hot flashes, my inner child is playing with matches."

I used to drive an 18-wheel truck all the time. In stopping to deliver a load, I had a slight "power surge" and was fanning myself. The dock master asked me if I was okay and I told him "I'm just having a power surge". He laughed (and noting the wedding ring on my finger) asked me if my husband had a surge protector. We both laughed about that one!

Speaking of driving - I go back to work next Friday (3/23) driving one of those big rigs. I have to wait until I get back to the house to pick up Delilah (usually takes about a week). She will be staying with my oldest daughter in the meantime. Hopefully we will have lots of pictures for you the next time I get home.

Here are a few that I've seen recently here in Hawaii. (At least the ones that can be posted!)

I'm still a hot babe but now it comes in flashes.

As long as there are tests, there will be prayer in public schools.

What would Scooby do?

Yes, this is my truck and No I won't help you move.

Put on your Big Girl Panties and deal with it!
