Rally - 05-16-2007, 09:05 PM

Has anyone here tried training for rally competition? I have begun training and practicing with my 1 year old Oliver and he is doing extremely well. I think I may love it just as much as he does. We are also interested in doing obedience competition. If anyone here has experience with either of these I would love to hear about it. I have never had a dog that was so willing to please. He will do anything I ask of him. Thanks shila

Rally is awesome!!! I compete with my 2 year old Georgia. She loves it, it is fun and keeps her happy and interested. She was getting bored with competition obedience so we switched to rally and it is wonderful! I think the most difficult part is just learning the signs yourself...have fun with it the judges really look for teamwork.

Tell me about it the signs are rough Oliver knows his rights and lefts better than I do. It's really all about training me.Once I know what I'm supposed to do - it's easy.
