Our Moderator Clogs was suppose to attend with her Pem Rosie, the Wellington Welsh Corgi Walking Club's walk and cafe social last Saturday, but alas her mother-in-law who lives in Auckland, died aged 99.
My sympathies to her and her husband, David and his mother who was less than one year off receiving an official birthday card from the British Queen.

Thanks, Michael. She was one of life's truly wonderful people and I could not have had a better Mum-in-law.

P.S. Her older sister could not attend, but her oldest did.

Good heavens, Clogs. Your husband is destined to live a very long life - or does it just run in the girls.

Hard to know. There was a brother, but he was killed by a bull at an early age. But yeah - if Mum had lived another three months, there might well have been three sisters all over 100 years old.
