Elderly Corgi -

Yesterday I spent six hours with Taylor at a beach-side, holiday resort town called Easbourne and a down the road place called Days Bay. During our lunch, we met a Pembroke male Corgi who in a couple of months will be 17 years old. The Corgi and his owner said hi to Taylor and me and we had quite a lengthy conversation. The elderly Corgi had very bright eyes and a fairly good vision, but at age six he went completely blind with cataracts in both eyes. The owner didn't realise his Corgi had anything wrong with his eyes. So both eyes were operated on to remove the cataracts at a cost of $1,800. The op was a success. He has a recent ac joint ligament problem in one of his back legs so his mobility is less now than what it has been but he is not overweight which greatly helps to ease the burden of a damaged ligament.
