Ultimate doggy daycare? - 12-18-2007, 05:53 PM

A new kindergarten for dog dayare has opened in Auckland, New Zealand.
Is this the ultimate in pooch pampering?
All dogs big or small are welcome but each is evaluated before acceptance, to ensure compatiibility.
A school bus is provided for collecting and dropping off and each dog has a school bag to keep toys and treats safe.
Morning play time include games such as tug of war, hide and seek and foot painting.
The casual rate is $30 per day or $400 for a calendar month.
Quiet time is held in the early afternoon with minders and dogs alike sitting down together in front of TV to listen/see yapping good yarns etc.

Big and small dogs are separated and run separate schedules. The outdoor areas with paddling pools are a big hit.

A grooming service is available with full wash and blow-dry plus any clipping including nails.

This beats leaving your Corgi at home for long periods and vulnerable to stress.

The large photo with this article in the local Wellington newspaper showed a young woman surronded by a sitting down group of very interested small dogs - no Corgi in the pic though.
