Christmas wishes
I wish everyone on Go Corgi, especially Peggy and Debbie, a verry happy and holy Christmas.
We are in the midst of summer here in New Zealand though Xmas Day (nextTuesday) is threatening to have some rain later in the day in our neck of the woods. This will spoil somewhat the barbecue Taylor and my family will be going to for post-Christmas lunch celebrations. Still, we are sure to enjoy the luncheon. Hope my sister remembers to bring the dog CD for Taylor. Taylor will have the pleasure of opening a personal present from the Retirement Village he visits. The wrapping includes jungly bells so that will attract his attention for a start.
I will be going to a church service especially for children on Christmas Eve without Taylor this time. Last year he and my youngest son, Nathan were part of the Nativity play. Taylor will miss the occasion and all the pampering he got, as well as the large folksy orchestra our local church boasts.
On Christmas Day I will open up a bottle of Lindauer Reserve Brut wine and offer a toast to you all. Which reminds me that during the WWCWC Xmas picnic, a bottle of bubbly I opened, overflowed spilling onto the grassed ground, and boy, did the Corgis congregate around to slurp up some of the spilt wine.
