Xmas present I didn't want - 12-22-2007, 02:03 AM

The Lady who can't handle her huge, overweight Bull Mastiff-Great Dane cross Dog, Boof, and so has entrusted me with taking him for 30 minute walks, was so grateful to find a poor fool such as I that she gave me a Basset Hound wall ornament as a Xmas gift because she thinks I love all dogs. How could I refuse her thoughfulness and generosity? The ornament is actually that of a Bloodhound. So I was able to pass it on to a niece who owns a Bloodhound and adores the breed. My niece has only just qualified as a lawyer from Victoria University in Wellington, so passing the gift onto her was a kind of graduation present
