I just have to take a minute to gloat. It is 65 out right now and there is a large, round, bright, yellowish, glowy thing in the sky...could it be the sun?!? I took Pip for a walk, in the snow, in my t-shirt...heeheehee. It's great! Unfortunately, it's going to be short-lived, but I'm making the most of it, and wishing all of you in the frozen tundra were here!

I have that too, but it's a balmy 18 degrees here with a 2 below windchill. Should get to the mid 40's by the weekend though.

Will it ever end?

Enjoy your day and put some in your pocket for a rainy day!

LOL! I will and I'll probably have to pull some out of my pocket soon. The rainy day, is supposed to start tonight. We are already in a flood watch and it's rain is forecasted to start this evening, continuing into all day tomorrow. Then the weather is going back to yuck. Still I can't complain!

We're having pleasant weather today. Partly cloudy right now but we do have temps warm enough for some MELTING to be going on. So maybe tomorrow you'll be a bit warmer. At least for a day or so, I hear we're back to winter tomorrow. <sigh>

Why do I feel like I'm living in a different country? LOL

It was almost 70 degrees at 6 am. By the time I got up at 8am, the temp had dropped to 42 degrees. It rained most of the morning, and we've had cold wind gusts over 40 miles an hour all day...making it feel like it's freezing! Brrrr!

Oh well, I'm happy some of you got some warmth, and we're finally having one cloudy, chilly day here in TX.

Well, now if I could get the jet stream to dip a bit lower and you could have some of this cold and moisture that we keep getting from the NW I'd gladly do it.

Yesterday and today it was sunny in the 60's and the prettiest blue sky. Daffodils are blooming and the grass is starting to get green. I think Spring is coming but it is supposed to storm tonight.

Daffodils and green grass! Oh, wow. We still have two feet of snow on the yard and flower beds. Condensed, hard snow. More like an iceberg now.
