No self-respecting Corgi male would gladly put up with wearing a ribbon. A hole in a ribbon might help to clear the air.

Unless you state otherwise, I assume that anything one posts here with their name attached is their own personal thoughts. Just because you don't say it's yours doesn't mean it belongs to someone else. We all assume what is written "from" our name or screen name is from us unless stated otherwise.

All Michael needed to do was post a link to the site he got it from and say it modified it. Posting it with nothing indicates to me that he's saying it's his.

And yes, something like this is important to me as I have many posts on line and I'd want them credited to me if I wrote them. Some people have taken some of my ideas, etc. and posted them on their web pages with my permission and giving me credit. I would be upset to see them posted somewhere else without my name on them.

So I expect the same for anyone who has anything posted any place on the internet. And yes, if I saw someone posting one of Micheal's articles without his name on it I'd be letting them know who wrote it.

Peggy

Peggy - what a triple load of tripe.

Please note: the above phase "triple load of tripe" was sourced from an ancient Hebrew saying which was revived by Jesus in the desert when confronted by the Devil during the 40 days and nights of fasting. The Devil was tempting Jesus in promising him land and wealth and for all I know, a large crew of Corgis (who originated 2000 years ago anyway).

I have to agree with Corgis4me that I found it uncouth but I don't see where the issues are unless I missed something in Peggy's links that she posted as I only saw one with a copyright. Stuff like this goes around on the internet all the time and I have been guilty of copying and pasting some of it in threads or posts to share the message or info. If I don't see a copyright, then to me it isn't copyrighted. I think Michael was just trying to share something that he found funny. Maybe it has been going around here for a long time, but it may have just made it's way to New Zealand. This thread kind of reminds me of children that squabble back and forth with the did too or did not theme. Just my two cents for what its worth.

All I'm going to say if that I would like to know how many people copy-pasted the copyright information before they emailed it to a million and a half of their coworkers and friends. It's been circulated over the internet a trillion times. This whole copyright argument seems just a little unnecessary, especially since it's not like he said "I wrote this, it is mine." It's not a report for a class or a circulated publication people, it's a forum. Jeez.

Westin hated the bow, but it was green and matched his rabies tag! he looked too cute. but I think the tear right down the center of it was really more "his style."

KJohnson, I know what you're talkin about. A little girl in my neighborhood made Nick a lace collar with a bell. It was really cute however Nick didn't think so. She put it on his neck and I was sweating bullets hoping Nick wouldn't destroy it in front of her. He managed to control himself until I got him home. Once the apartment door was closed it was all over for the collar.
