Some differences between Cardis and Pems.

If Corgis were a CAR
A Cardi would be a Volvo
A Pem would be a sporty Corvette.

BIRDS
Cardi an eagle, ever wathcful and wise
Pem a finch, flitting from place to place.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
Cardi a mellow sax
Pem a sassy trumpet.

FAMOUS MUSICIANS
Cardi a Kenny Rodgers
Pem a Jessica Simpson.

TALK SHOW HOSTS
Cardi a Merv Griffin
Pem a Jerry Springer.

Oh, geez I hope not! I'd not want any Jessica Simpsons (my dogs are smarter than that!!!) or Jerry Springers in my house!

I see this comes from Sherilyn's site. No offense Sherilyn, but I don't see my pems as Jessica Simpson's or Jerry Springers.

Allright! I can totally see my Nick as Merv Griffin. Sitting next to Jim Hall interviewing Count Basie or Della Reese.

I don't know about Merv Griffin but I can accept that a Pem is a Jerry Springer - who never seems to be phased by anything, is very confident and asks the hard questions. I am very pleased that a Pem is a beautiful Jessica Simpson - fitting in with her glamour and presence.

Posting this for Rus and Sherilyn-Winjammin Corgis:

Please post as my account STILL DOES NOT WORK:

We appreciate your visits to our site, and yes, some of our fun
comparisons are great fodder for forums such as these. However, we
would appreciate it if you would first ask permission to use any
information or images off our site. After all, isn't that what
copyrights are about? ;o)

Thanks for reading and sharing your comparisons. Our Pem is definitely
like Jessica Simpson in that she has a lot to say with very little
reason for opening her mouth. And she is very like Jerry Springer in
that she LOVES to stir up trouble where there doesn't seem to be any.
)

Rus

Hey Michael some useless information for you. Merv Griffin was a show business guy (ex broadway star) who had a great personalty and a knack for entrepreneurship . He became a talk show host in the mid sixties and lasted to the mid eighties. His band leader was the legendary jazz guitarist Jim Hall and he also created many game shows. I believe Jeopardy is his most famous. Also, I am not sure if you know this but Jerry Springer used to be the mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio (a major midwestern city in the USA) before he started interviewing fat drunk people.

Thank you, Cindy! Rus still can't log in and I've been swamped at work so haven't had much opportunity for fun things, so have been out of the loop on all of the forums. It's nice to have friends watch out for us.

As Rus said, we appreciate the visits to our website, but would definitely appreciate asking permission to use any info posted there. Thanks!

Russ and Sherilyn are being very gracious. I do know of some website owners who would create an absolute stink. Such lack of acknowledging sources could in fact put Stephen in the position of having to close the forum if the wrong party's site were lifted from.

Pems could indeed be suitable as Mayors or towns/cities. Thanks, MattC also for the info on Merv Griffin.

Some cheap tricks a-la Hillary Clinton, has crept into Go Corgi. Not the work of a Cardi or a Pem.

Why I believe you have had an epiphany Michael, there is something very Clintonesque in your response.
