Has anyone saw the movie 8 below ??

I have been wanting to rent it, wondering if anyone has any feedback ?

I watched it last weekend with my daughter and it is an excellent movie. All dog lovers will really enjoy it. Be prepared with tissues

Hubby went to vidieo store last night but it was all out.

I too heard it was a tear jerker, I just hope I can get through it. I still havent been able to watch sleeping beauty or old yeller all the way through.

I too must see that movie, I know I will be crying - I am the kid who used to
cry during all the Lassie episodes when she was hurt or lost.

I am going to check it out this weekend, thanks for reminding me.

It is a movie for any animal lover - especially dog lovers.

It must be pretty popular because it took me 3 trips to the video store until I was able to rent it.

I've heard that it's pretty good, but I make it a point never to watch any movies with dogs as the main story line--I'm such a sap if anything happens to one of them that I cry for days--so, no 8 Below for me.

Yes Linda supposed to be based on a true story, Although I've heard hollywood has splashed it up.

Jeni, I know thats what I am afraid of. For some reason movies with horses in it that have sad endings I just dont handle very well, I like you cry for days...

I have a friend who has FIVE Malamutes - when "8 Below" first came to the theater he didn't think he would go see it. But recently when I talked to him he has now decided to rent it...I will wait to hear from him but I am pretty sure, no matter how good it is, I will not be able to handle it...
