It is great, and since we NEVER want children, Dudley gets spoiled rotten. However, Tim, my husband, loves to remind me that Dudley belongs to me whenever he has an accident or needs to be taken outside

Jeni

Have you read Eoin Colfer's books about Artemis Fowl? We bought the first two books on CD when we took Leah to Fla on vacation - the books are apx 8 hrs long and were read by Nathaniel Parker. They are fantastic storys. Jessica I think you would love them too if you like Harry Potter.

We loved them as much as Leah - in fact when we came home I bought her the next two books (not on tape yet). I've already read them but am saving them for the next long trip in the car - I will have to read to her because she gets car sick.

I haven't read the Artemis Fowl books yet. Everytime I go to the bookstore, I debate trying them out, but I just never have for some reason. I'll definitely look at those next time I go Thanks for the recommendation!
I sympathize with Leah's carsickness. I can't even look at a book without getting woozie. My eyes have to stay to the front or I'm sick for hours I guess that's one think Dudley and I have in common too!

Wow, we've got some interesting people in here.

My interests lie in quilting (I've quilted for 22 years), and although I've only traveled a little, and it was great, I can't afford to do much of it, so I take lots of photos instead. I was raised going on vacations to national parks and love taking photos out in the woods but they're a good 5 hours drive so don't get there very often. Once in a while I get a great photo. Today I'm heading for the beach to take photos. My two corgis get lots of photos taken of them. I also enjoy reading and movies, especially ones with time travel. I love the Outlander series of books and have read them all through several times. I'm pretty much a free thinker as far as the "possibilities" are endless. Our corgis just add to our joy.
