Corgi eating - 05-29-2007, 07:28 PM

Heard over the radio this morning that a British guy says that he has eaten a Corgi in protest at the Queen's husband, Prince Phillip with the Prince and his hunting group, tracking down yet another fox and killing the poor thing.

Of course the guy might not be for real and if he is so, he is being entirely excessive and deserving of a jail sentence. But perhaps they should also lock up the people continuing to pursue this ridiculous hunting of the beautiful fox including royalty. Ironically, the fox and the Corgi are pretty similar in quite a few ways.

I hope he's not for real.
Cultural no-no's get people going, so maybe it is just a consciouness-raising thing.

But whether he did or didn't eat a corg, he won't be safe in the British public for a bit I imagine. Kiwi's are dopey enough about their dogs, but Brits are, in some circles anyway, fanatical.

Thankfully, the Corgi had died (probably of old age).

No surprise, the guy's an animal right's activist.
http://www.markmcgowan.org is the guy's own site.

Add Yoko Ono to this repulsive stunt:

Ono! Yoko eats a Corgi on live radio - People

We are not amused!!
I can't imagine a daft and repulsive act like this getting very much traction, to be honest. It will strike a wrong note on so many levels.
