OMG-have we had rain in the Midwest or what??? Thought I would share some of the photos from last night's batch of storms. My good friend Sheryl in IL is thinking of turning the RV into an ark-1 inch of rain each day this week plus 3 more last night.

Hoping everyone is staying dry. Enjoy the photos and yes, that's our little piece of heaven. And the black thing coming up the driveway in one photo is the hubby's old old lab-Hope. She's loving called the couch dog.

(helps if I add the photo link-duh)

We have had a lot of storms this week too in Michigan. Our sky however don't look as cool as yours ... It seems to go very dark and then start storming. Molsen hates it ... he gets so worked up he shakes like crazy in the corner and nothing will calm him down.

But I love looking at the lightening ... It is so brilliant against the night sky.

With spring just around the corner, this has been the driest winter I have ever experienced in the Wellington area of New Zealand. And we are a very rainy area usually. Not much nice natural rainwater to wet the Corgis very often.

We could use some rain here in Southern Indiana. We've just been HOT! 101 here yesterday and where I work the AC wasn't working right.

We just had some strong storms roll through Michigan last weekend. It even produced 3 tornados ... There were no injuries fortunately. But it helped cool down the area for a couple days.

Today is the official first day of spring in New Zealand, but apart from one week of real cold weather, almost our entire winter has been spring-like. It was also like this for our winter of 2005.
