virus warning - 08-07-2006, 01:52 AM

It's a very good idea to warn Go Corgi members of any internet virus outbreaks that could damage their computer etc.

Only today I got wind of two of the most damaging virus ever devised. Apparantly there is no counter for these - they will wreck your computer permanently along with every programme disappearing for good.

Here is what to look out for: DONT OPEN ANY EMAILS WITH PICTURES OF OSAMA BIN LADEN IN A HANGING POSITION.

DONT OPEN ANY MESSAGE WITH AN ATTACHED FILE CALLED 'INVITATION' - REGARDLESS OF WHO SENT IT.

Immediately wipe these emails from your system.

yes, agreed on the thank you. My father had a virus wipe out his old system, it really is devestating. A tip: keep your files on a back up disc like he did, it makes it less horrific.
