Debbie - I believe it is accurate re females being the better on the whole at agility. But most sets of stats, circumstances and instances can be slanted to suit an arguement.
I could tell you that the national champion at agility in Portugal is a male dog and he followed in the footsteps of two other male dogs - but that doesn't detract from the scenario that female dogs overall are better suited temperamentally etc than males to a sport such as agility which requires pinpointed co-operation between handler and canine.
You and I have discussed this business before on another thread.

It is treatable with dips, baths, and medications. This form though is contagious and can even transfer to humans, so one has to be careful around this particular form.

The breeder was supposed to treat.

And my belief is different. I don't see the evidence to support it among the corgis running here in the States.

An argument based on structural differences between males and females might hold more sway with me, however, I also believe we disagree on the biddablity between males and females. Overall, I (and many other breeders/owners across all breeds) find males much more biddable, eager to please and in tune with their owners than are the females. Hey, they don't call them b*tches for nothing. I love my boys and I love my girls, but they are different. Handler and individual personalities and temperaments, along with structure in the dogs are what make winning teams. Or at least that is what I glean from seriously competitive exhibitors.
