Hello Jacob,

My name is Linda,

You are only 6 and have saved up that much money. Wow, how did you manage to do that? How soon do you want to get this new dog?

How did you let your mom and dad know that you wanted a Pembroke Welsh Corgi; or is it something that your parents have been talking about getting?

Tell your mom or dad they have come to the right place and they can meet and talk with very nice people here; that was nice of them to help you post your thoughts here; maybe one of them could say hello and tell us about the Corgi you hope to find.

I hope your families wishes will come true and you will find a Corgi to join your family.

Hi sweetheart. How wonderful that you want a corgi. I'm sure your parents know that a dog would be with you for a long time, maybe 15 years, and you would be a young adult by then, hopefully at college, so the dog would be their responsibility. A dog needs alot more than to be played with. Would you make sure to feed it and give it water every day, and walk it, and clean up after it's potty? This wouldn't be only your parents job. It's a BIG responsibility. Sometimes it is easier to get a rescued corgi from a corgi rescue than starting out with a puppy that needs to be potty trained, and will dig and chew. Corgis are wonderful dogs. Good luck. ~Shelly

Hi Jacob!

Welcome to Go Corgi! You have quite a bit saved so far so I bet it won't be long before you find your puppy! My corgis are named Emma - she is the yellow one, and Chloe is the black and white one. The little girl in the middle is my Granddaughter Leah. Do you have a name picked out for your puppy yet?

I have a nephew named Jacob - we call him Jake sometimes too.

hi Jacob - my eldest son's name is Dylan Jacob, so we have something in common - we both like the name!
Now that you are a long way towards having enough money to buy a Corgi pup, I hope you have got grandparents that you can pester, because they sure come in handy when their favourite or near favourite grandson has a goal in mind and is determined to make it.
Go Jacob go. Keep up the good work and keep in touch with Go Corgi.
