Not enough notice, but I would have loved to have gone, it sounds like such fun! Why don't you hang around and join the group here? (And I would love to see photos from the picnic.)

Bobbie - I run the Wellington Welsh Corgi Walking Club (WWCWC) in New Zealand. Tell me what kind of events etc that have been arranged for your picnic.
WWCWC has a Christmas bush walk for 60 to 70 minutes and picnic coming up on December 3 and the extra events so far I have penciled in are: Corgi gift exchange, and for the humans wine, beer, spirits etc rather than coffee and tea.

We had some basic beginning agility demo and let people try it, same for rally, and then had simple contests. Also a "find the cookie and toy" game where the corgis on leash hunted for treats and toys in a wooded area.
