Notices of Corgi socials - 03-20-2007, 04:00 AM

From henceforth, if any member has an informal social type of event involving Corgis and Corgi owners and families, a short version of the event details can be published on the home page of Go Corgi.

Contact me with brief details of the event by emailing to mjromanos@hotmail.com

I'll kick off the Members Social Corgi Event Notice with one of my own.

Merrie,

Cardigans are welcome at the majority of the picnics, definitely at the CA ones. And gee whiz, I'm in the photos at the bottom of the page.

But can I go without a dog? There was a gathering last weekend right behind our old home in Poway and I wanted to be there but worried it would make the waiting for pregnancy information be even more anxious a wait.

Peggy, the park is gorgeous in those photos. Green grass, healthy trees, why do I live in a desert type forest? We did get a whole day of drizzle today. I swear I could see the trees soaking up the moisture and "breathing relief".

Never been a problem coming without a dog at any of the ones I've attended. I'll invite people who are interested in the breed(s) to come and have an opportunity to be around the dogs and see if they'll be right for their home. And I often go dogless just because I'm going to be "working" or have rescues in tow. My own poor dogs rarely attend. Just up to you and if you can handle to the "torture" or sometimes a "fix" might be just what you need.

Hey Merrie,

I believe that the corgi meetup in Poway is THIS weekend:

The San Diego Corgi Meetup Group (San Diego, CA) - Meetup.com

I am going to try to get over there with Trevor!

Take pictures and post on the event/socials thread.

We can't go, our remaining car is in the shop waiting for the part to arrive..."its in the mail".

Have fun.

ALL corgis are welcome at the picnics. Or corgi lovers without corgis too!
