A beautiful NE fall day -

We had fourteen dogs show up for our playdate at Kingson State Park. The weather was perfect. The location was gorgeous, and the dogs had more fun than they could ever have had before. At least Duchess was getting quality exercise, chasing Colby, Zachary, Hemi, Coop, Lady Kara, Byron, Angus, Woody, Ruby,Andy, Sadie, Mac and Oscar.
We had some unexpected guests. A big welcome to Beth, Kim and Lynn. Sorry if I missed anyone. I think we have our name picked out. "Border Corgis". With Mass, NH and Maine closeby it would be fitting. The day went so well that we plan on having another playdate before the end of the year. Someone else will have to pick the date. I am willing almost any day to go back to see all those wonderful dogs. |

Aaron, Hemi, Cooper and I had a great time!! Thank you so much for having us and organizing this! We look forward to the next meet up!
 Aaron was so sad that the batteries we bought today for his camera were crap as they ran out within minutes. Ugh. Hopefully everyone else got good pictures!! We loved seeing all the dogs interacting with one another! Everyones so friendly!! Very nice to have met all of you!!  Hemi & Cooper!

It really was an awesome day for some doggie fun.
It was great to see old friends...Colby especially missed Byron and we just loved meeting all the new folks too....Thanks to all involved!! We too look forward to another time...although i dont think we will get better weather.....but as Tiffany pointed out, it would be great to get them in some snow and see what happens..... I will try to post as many pics as i can soon, sorry for Aaron  ...just in the middle of my weekend correcting of papers now...a teachers work is never doneColby is out cold as he dreams of his fun time with new pals..... I thought about you all today. Very happy to hear the meet up went well. Sounds like a lot of fun!
There's an annual Corgi meetup in Texas next week, but Charlie will be just a few days shy of having his full puppy immunizations, so we have to miss it. Looking forward to seeing all the pictures!  He Ain't Heavy, He's My Corgi! |

Great to see all the similarities and differences in personalities and appearance. Cooper passed out on the way home and we got stuck in heinous traffic in Worcester. O well it was well worth it! But yes!! Hopefully we can organize a winter meet! Prior to Xmas and we can make some kind of cards out of a group shot or something! That'd be awesome!! I'll be dreaming of corgis for sure tonight! Many of the Corgis went swimming, even if Colby only went up to his knees...and we saw his friend, Reilly from our dog park....
