Sunday corgis - 11-02-2007, 06:47 PM

The playdate at Kingston State Park in Kingston NH went so well I thought we might do a weekly Sunday afternoon meeting at 1 pm for any corgis in the area. At least this Sunday, Lovemycorgi and I plan on being there and hope some of our Border Corgis can make it too. Weather permitting like always.

For those that can't make it this time we will try to do it every week the same time and place during the winter unless the members choose to move it to the beach.

The day has dawned sunny and clear. I hope the grass is dry in the field.
I will let you all know how it went. And if we picked up any more members or people interested in a playdate for their corgis.

Lovemycorgi( Edna and Zachary), Duchess and I were the only ones to show up at Kingston for the one o'clock playdate. We enjoyed the day and took a nice walk along the lake with the dogs getting some activity wading and romping.
I will not be able to attend next Sunday, but I still think we should keep it as a regular Sunday group. It is likely to build as time goes on.

A weekly schedule might be pushung the barrow somewhat and also taking the gloss off the big monthly (or so) event. But good luck to you all.

I wonder if any of you went to Kingston State Park for a Sunday Playdate? I was sorry I couldn't go because I had tickets to Les Miz at North Shore Music Theatre. It was a great show.
I am going to try for next Sunday. Hope I have some company there. Duchess went with me on Saturday but we didn't have much time in the park as someone was waiting for us in the car.

We really should try to schedule somthing once a month - say the first Sunday of the month.

Kingston is rather far for some of us to do a hit or miss meetup. Plus I think we'll get greater participation that way.

I would be fine with once a month for the lot of us. Would you be willing to travel to Kingston once a month Pat_M? Or would you prefer another location? Who else is interested in that plan of one Sunday a month?

That wouldn't stop me from going whatever Sunday I could. So for the time being I am planning on going Sundays at 1 pm. Duchess can really use the exercise of "herding" a crew of corgis.

Pat_M and I have been communicating about setting a date of December 2, 2007 as the next group meeting at Kingston State Park for the Border Corgi group. We are also posting on other websites to enlarge the numbers of participants. Weather permitting etc...... Dec 2 at 1 pm. will be our next playdate.

Duchess and I will be going to Kingston State Park for 1 pm today. If you do not see us from the gate we will be heading off on the trails. Hope I have some corgi company. Jane
