I just moved to Henderson, and I would love to find some friends his own size for Grissom to play with.
I have three dogs, but the other are an almost 90lb GSD mix, and a Boxer, so Griss could really use some little buddies.
I live right next to a dog park at the 215 and Pecos, and would LOVE to start a meetup maybe once or twice a month for the doggies to play. Maybe BBQ occasionally. I know there are a handful of Vegas members, so maybe we can plan something??

DonCoryon I was going to send some info via PM but never found the time.

But, I'd love to meet up for the dogs to play. I'm over on 215 & Durango (South) and usually free Saturday & Sundays. Don I believe, you're off on Sundays right?

I don't mind the drive to 215/Pecos, but I know Don lives over towards Aliante, so it's a trek for him. Maybe there's something a bit more central for all of us.

I know another couple who has a tri-colored pembroke boy named Charlie who went to the same training class as Zoe. I have their email, so I can email them also.

I don't mind the drives either.

Whoops, sorry I went MIA for a few days, had company in town.

Yes, south pecos... literally right off of the 215. I'm up for rotating parks around the valley.
We decided today that we're actually going to get another pembroke later this year, around October for Grissom to play with. So, if anyone knows of any breeders relatively local that are "up to standard" that would be wonderful. We're looking now so that hopefully come October we don't have to wait forever. We also have a lot of family in Utah and California, so open to travel.

Breeders in So. CA would be the closest to you. There are very few reputable breeders in Utah and none of us are planning any litters in the very near future.

Go to the PWCCA site and check out the breeders in CA. PWCCA - Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America, Inc. - Breeder Referral There are some very good ones in So. CA.

Congrats Linsey on planning your upcoming addition!

Katie Finlay had suggested a wonderful breeder over in Bakersfield where she got Conan from. I have corresponded with her also regarding getting a tri-colored corgi male later this year although we decided to wait for a blue merle cardigan first from Coedwig's over in Oregon. I'm hoping to add another pembroke next year instead. I don't have the breeder's info in Bakersfield as I am doing this from my mobile and can't get to the info. Once I get it, I'll pass it along unless Katie sees this first and provides it

When did you folks want to start the meet up?

Hello from New England, I find it exciting to see another group of corgis getting started. I was out in Vegas last year in April.
You should make it official and form a "Sin City Corgi Club". Really kidding about the name. But you should make your own group.
When my friends and I began the Coastal Corgis we collected emails and now I send news and reminders of scheduled events from my contact list.
I always like to say whether you have a few corgis or more you will have lots of fun just letting them chase each other around. I have also found that corgi owners are very friendly people, so you will be doubly blessed.
