Just wanted to announce that I am hosting an upcoming Corgi picnic on Saturday, September 30th about 35 miles SW of Chicago. If you would like me to upload a flyer, please email me at cgrinius@sbcglobal.net and I will be glad to send you all the information you need. This picnic will also be a fundraiser for the CorgiAid organization, which provides equipment assistance (carts) for corgis with disabilities, assisting in finding homes for corgis, etc. etc. All info is on the flyer. I hope some of you corgi owners will be able to attend! Thank you.

Yes! It is all for very worthy cause.
U are right... there is no info on this picnic at all & 30th Sep is only 5 days away. Given this short period of time, it doesn't give others enough time to promote & respond to this event. It is so heartwrenching to see those handicapped Corgis in carts & the homeless.

Let's hope Christina update you very soon.

Here is a link that I found which lists picnics for different states. Some of these have past already, but it gives contact names so maybe want to take note of them for finding out about picnics for next year in your states.

I wish i lived closer - it sounds like fun, but unfortunately IL is a bit of a hike from CT...and well, singapore is really way far away ! I look forward to photos though!

I would love to attend a corgi picnic for Milo and meet other fellow corgis but being in NY - I'm way far from all of you.

There should be some kind of gathering for them to meet. Us owners gather here daily or weekly to discuss tips, feedback, and even brags. Our corgis should too.

You are not that far from me, Sweetlychee. We can always have a playdate . . . or we can put together a picnic and see if we can get Susan, Tuck & Lulu to come down form the wilds of "upstate" too!!!
