I love all these corgi tidbits and all. The Queen can't be that bad if she loves and cares for her dogs that much. And she's really loyal to the corgi breed. All her corgis are descended from the very first corgi she had. Her dogs are well fed and taken care of with daily exercises and many minerals and nutrition fed in their diet. Sounds great!! |

Thanks for the complements folks - it was quite a hoot dressing up. I did get a lot of double takes even though it was Halloween.
My Douglas Toy Corgi Hamish, sits on my desk at the front of my cubicle. It's really funny how people will start stroking his back without even realizing they're doing it. It's a stress release. The Queen just had her real birthday - her 80th on April 21st of this year. Her official birthday was celebrated on June 7th. Here in Canada, we celebrate it on May 24th and it is a long weekend - yay Betty, thanks for the day off!

I saw that one of the ladies on the View dressed up as the queen for halloween. She was escorted out to the show with 3 little corgis. They are only on for a few seconds, but here is the link.

turkeylegs: Thank you, that video is so cute, and I would have totally missed it if not for you.
Also, to add to the list, best-selling author Lisa Scottoline has a Pembroke. |

Deb,
I think you need to do a "virtual picture" of yourself in front of Buckingham Palace Turkeylegs; thanks for posting that. I saw where they were getting ready before the show, but I had to leave and never got to see the Corgis.

I didn't win a royal trip or even tea with the real queen. I did win a new hands free phone though and it's really great!
Mmm, maybe a virtual trip to see the other Queen is in order. We'll see.
