Unhappy Sunny will be missed! - 08-21-2006, 01:42 AM

Sadly tonight we had to put our 10 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Sunny to sleep. She had a heart problem that came on very suddenly. She will be missed so much, and has filled the past 10 years with so much joy. When I am able to get on my parent's computer I will post a picture.

Sunny who loved apples and cheese (but not provolone), walks, cookies, and sitting out front. She will be missed by our entire family who loved her dearly. She touched our lives in many ways that cannot be replaced. I know she's happy in doggy heaven, but we will not forget her!

Karen,

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss of Sunny; what a sad time for you.
I had to put my last pem, whom I had for 11 1/2 years, down last December and it was so very hard

What had helped me was to rather than think sad thoughts, was to remind myself and be thankful that she had come into my life and that I had been given the honor to have had her in my life. I know that is hard to do for you now, but hopefully down the road another Corgi may grace your life again.

So sorry

Would love to see a picture when you feel you can post it.

Karen I am so sorry for your loss, we all know all to well how hard it is to lose a dog that is very much a part of our family.
Prayers for you and your family.

Oh Karen, I'm so sorry. I lost my home-grown 13yo Champion Golden Retriever on July 29, but on Aug 27 I got my first Corgi. He's a 7mo old little guy from Corgi rescue and he has stolen my heart. I miss my old girl so much, but I think she's smiling knowing I'm happy again.

Karen - So sorry to hear of your loss - I lost my Lil Dig in February and I still have a very hard times some days. Thankfully, I have Chip who is a pem and almost 8 months old. I love him dearly and he has helped fill that void so much. Perhaps you will find another one soon. God Bless
