I wanted to write and say to those who have lost a beloved corgi or pet, you are all very strong.

Personally, I have not lost a corgi. Milo is my first corgi. But, I have lost some pets in my life - my duck and some turtles. I remember being very sad and crying when I was young. I'm going to be frank - I'm very teary eyed. When I read all the post of people's corgi succumbing to illness and slowly passing on, I broke down at work. I couldn't hold back my tears. I think some co-workers passed by my desk looking at me oddly.

I feel so sad because I don't think our corgis are just dogs/pets to us. They are our best friends, companions, and even children. I cannot fathom or even imagine what would happen if Milo is not with us one day. I told my fiance and he said not to worry. I wish they lived beyong the 10-15 years range.

I want to say thank you for sharing the memories and stories with us all. I think corgis are enchanted. They are really special. Each day I visit this forum and even though Milo doesn't read or type, I'm doing it for him to get the best and most valuable information I can to help him with his problems.

Thank you for sharing your stories and being so brave.
