*~* For those who do NOT know...I have two Pembroke Corgis'.
They are 6 months old.
They are sisters (littermates).
Their names are: Midnight & Sunshine.

** Patience & praise works best for me...when I need to teach or disipline my girls. My children (Kyle...age 12 & Sara...age 10) always say to me,
" Mom, why do the puppies listen to YOU and not to us " ?

I tell them, "Patience & praise...and always be consistant & follow through"

My kids yell or raise their voices at Midnight & Sunshine sometimes when they are trying to give a command. Midnight & Sunshine look at me then...for direction. I have to re-direct my children to use a soft low tone.

Midnight & Sunshine listen to me & obey me....extremely well. I DO NOT even need to yell or raise my voice at them. They both are eager to please.

Just like our human children...puppies do not like to be yelled at !!

*** Michael, I would love to see if my girls would be able to go to a Nursing home or children shelter to help lift spirits. I would never get offended if someone or someplace said that they are not ready or not the right fit. I wanna try....try....to see if both my girls could go to help others.

That would be COOL !!

I AM SURE THAT TAYLOR GETS HIS OWN PLEASURE OUTTA VISITING WITH THE NICE PEOPLE WHERE HE VISITS !!

*~* Nikki
