Stopped By a Cop - For Shippo?!

I had a funny thing happen today. I was in the park with Shippo, doing a lap around the baseball fields, and this cop car came driving up the sidewalk behind us. I stepped to the side with Shippo to let him pass, and he stopped next to me, rolled down the window, and said...

"Wow, is that a corgi?!"

I was like >O___O< but quickly collected myself and said "Yes it is, he's purebred, but just a fluffy."

He said, "What's a fluffy?"

I said, "Just a longhaired corgi, they can be born in regular litters - blahblahblah insert more fluffy info here."

He asked me if I showed him and I told him no, that he is pet quality, so I had him neutered. He complimented Shippo, we said our goodbyes, and he continued his drive up the sidewalk and out of the park.

I just thought that was unusual, so I had to share lmao... >^^;<

When we lived in NE Minneapolis Kevin and I were walking from my house to my DH's house (fiance at the time). We passed a police car that was on the side of the road and the officer started chit chatting to me about Kevin. Must be something about police officers and corgis.

Deep down, the cops prefer Corgis to German Shepherds. But they can't have 'em - they can do there own dirty (in the nicest sense) work.
